Acquia UX Team Quote Posters

This UX team project was part promotion and part inspiration. Prompted the team to share favorite quotes from their favorite industry leaders and influencers. Once the final quotes were selected, I created these posters based on the company brand guide. The posters were displayed in common areas alongside materials from other departments to help build cross-team connections.

MGB/Newton-Wellesley
Vernon Cancer Center Opening

Enlisted by the hospital’s marketing team to create materials for the opening of their new wing, the MGH/Joan and James Vernon Cancer Center. The new creative needed to echo the existing collateral materials and include the almond blossom, a motif incorporated throughout the center.

Assisted the project lead with staging and art direction for the photoshoot. Deliverables included a large pocket brochure, a mini-book brochure, a campus banner, an open house announcement, and formal invitations for major donors.

Women & Infants
The Art & Science of Healing

Women & Infants was scheduling robotic surgery procedures for eligible patients with area network hospitals. The minimally invasive surgery and shorter post-op recovery were a huge benefit for patients, but traveling for patients and device availability made scheduling difficult. The decision was made to acquire a da Vinci® surgical robot and improve the team’s onsite care.

Worked with the philanthropy group to design a multipage brochure and inserts with additional information for fundraising. Distributed at donor events and through mailings.

Butler Hospital Wayfinding Phase One

The marketing team at Butler needed to update the floor map (a Powerpoint file) and varied signage throughout the campus buildings. After the proposed designs were presented, the selected design became the basis for Phase One.

Navigating the hospital’s different buildings was, at times, difficult for patients and visitors. In Phase One, a color code design was introduced, drawing inspiration from the walking paths around the campus and along the Seekonk River. The new colors created a pathway for patients and their families to guide them to primary hospital services.

CMC Wayfinding Proposal

One of several design proposals to update the hospital’s wayfinding. Working within the space of the existing directory, signs are repositioned into a tighter group and mounted to frosted plexi. New sign art is sandwiched under clear plexi and held in place with aluminum hardware to allow easy updates. Starting with CMC eggplant, a new deep color range was selected for the floors. (Yes, the letter theme was already in use and integrated into the flooring.) New designs repurposed the existing directional signage.
